The National Addiction Memorial honors the loved ones we’ve lost.

My Son was 19, so young gone to soon, he was amazing daddy to his little girl Braelynn, the love between them melts my heart, he was so kind, caring and helpful.

He was worried about what would happen to me when I got old and couldn't care for myself. Always said he would care for me and always protect me. My boy loved his momma.

Everything, ill miss everything about him, He was a amazing son who did everything to help me out. And I miss the I love you mom have a great day at work, I miss hearing his voice.

I'd like my son remembered as a amazing Son, and a loving daddy, as well as a caring father. Who had a heart like no other. He will be forever missed by many.

My son Cody was Smart, Funny, Talented and always put others before himself. He would light up a room when he walked in. He was everbodys' best friend.

My favorite memory was his smile and his love for life, and his love for his family and friends.

He was a loving soul who cared about everyone loved animals he lost his way trying to fit in and finally he succumbed to the demon. This world is a darker place without him

His sense of humor and laugh. He looked at the world with a different perspective

Remember him for all his good deeds not the dark times. He was a special person and now a special angel

Matt was so funny-he could make me laugh anytime anywhere. He loved his family dearly and missed his close connection with them. He could fix anything that was broken or quit working. He had a caring heart and loved helping people.

He would do silly things like sing an old song to me and ask me to dance like...sometimes when we touch...

Simply being with him and being loved by him.

Probably that he was a good person deep down no matter where his addiction took him.

My brother was a fun loving guy who was always there for me growing up. He loved his daughters so very much but his addiction just took over his life and took him away from us way before he even passed away.

There was this time that he thought that I had gone to the movies with my ex and he decided he and his friend were going to take my car out for a joy ride. So he was surprised when he walked in I was there, and I really caught him off guard when I picked him up and tossed him across the room onto the couch.

His phone calls and him being there for me when I needed a shoulder to cry on.

A loving person who was always laughing and smiling!

Can make you laugh anytime, goofy and silly. He would do anything for anybody. He has a daughter who is now 4. We called him MacGyver cause he could fix anything and everything. Loved Star Wars

Loving caring man. My sole mate. Then started with pills. Snorting them. Then came the hatd drugs. Refused treatment. Then the last 2 people gave him a hot shot witch took his life. He was only 49. Now my life out him is lonely. I never did drugs.

All our crazy camping trips. Just getting in the truck and picking a direction and drive and stop for the night. Doing anything out doors. But most of all fishing trips

I miss our cuddling on the couch and watching tv are just listening to music

Kaci was born a beautiful red headed sky blue eyed baby. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. She never physical hurt anyone......mentally hurt herself and her family. The Demon of Addiction hold her no more.

She loved holidays and certain foods went with each holiday!!!

Faith, Hope and Love...She loved God and had the Faith of a Mustard Seed. All that knew and loved her had Hope she’d beat her addiction and we all Loved her anyway.

Gregory was a very smart get , warm and caring , he lost his way through depression, we all tried very hard to save him and we will never be the same.

But also had alot of pain in her heart, her Acquaintances Told her that this will numb her pain, HERION, she chased her demons until she got endocarditis in her heart, and it stopped.

He wad a beautiful soul who cared about everyone. He would do anything for anyone, even if it were a complete stranger. I miss him dearly every single day.

When we would work on cars together, or do something fun as a family. My daughter misses him dearly, even though she wasn't his biological daughter.

That he was a hard worker, but always put his family first.

He adored & loved his son, Jackson. He loved his family & friends. He enjoyed video games, singing karaoke and movie trivia.

He let me his mother sing whenever I wanted when he played rock band.

I miss seeing him everyday. The warmth of his smile, His bear hugs. The loving & caring ways of being a great father. How he always said I love you.

He is remembered as a loving son, brother, father, nephew, cousin & friend.

He was my soulmate. He could walk in a room and he would light up the room. I will always love and miss him.

Taking a vacation to Eureka Springs,Arkansas. We had a lot of fun. I have a lot pictures of the trip.

His smile, his voice, his laughter most of all his big hugs and kisses.

He would do anything for anyone. He had a big heart.

Nick loved and played all sports. I always felt so comfortable and safe when he was around. He iwas truly a mommas boy and I loved it. He was our teddy bear.

When he would want me to watch tv with him and I’d tell him that I didn’t want to watch football, he’d say that’s ok I’ll watch Lifetime Movie Network. ❤️❤️

The way he always called me “Mommy”, even though he was 33.

Joshua was the most kindest, and giving person. He loved his family, his “homies” and all animals.

Joshua was a Momma’s Boy and some of my fondest memories are of Josh and I sampling coffee and donuts all over the Chicagoland area.

Joshua’s contagious laugh, and the way he always gave sloppy kisses.

Joshua will always be a hero. He saved the lives of others by helping them after rehab. Joshua’s last gift to others was done through Gift of Hope when he donated his kidneys.
