Jeremiah was a beautiful boy. He loved animals and was loyal and loving. He fought addiction for years but after having his daughter in September 2018, we thought he was starting to overcome his demons. We were wrong and in January, he relapsed and ended his life in a drug induced psychosis. He left behind a devastated family who loves and misses him beyond measure.

Damien Steel
Age 38

Damien was such a kind soul. He always made people feel good about themselves. He is so very missed by everyone. He always made you feel good about yourself and always had a kind word to say. He was the most polite person. He would always hold doors open for people and always had a kind word to say. His nieces and nephews loved him so very much and I hope will never forget him. He always played with them and they loved him so very much. Life has definitely changed with him not here. He lived his last years in such torment because of this horrible disease. He became someone that we didn’t even know. He struggled so very hard with this addiction. I really thought he was on the road to recovery and then one night he never woke up. I truly hope that he did not suffer but in his real life he always did. He is so very sadly missed by everyone and I hope he knows how truly loved he was.

He was the greatest person you'd ever met. Give the shirt off his own back to help the next. He was that best friend who was always there for you. Usually with a 12 pk and a fishing pole. He always made sure you left his place with your seat belt on and there was always room for 1 more person in the bed of his truck. He showed me hard work and family means everything. Miss my daddy dearly. And that big ole Smile he never lost.

Jay Don

Age 42
husband, son, stepdad, loving, missed
Jay Don
Age 42
42

Jay was not only my husband (married July 27, 2018) but my soulmate, partner, teammate, and best friend.

My children and I finally had the final puzzle piece we had been missing and longed for...Jay.

Jay was an amazing husband and stepdad to my 2 children. He had a heart of gold, breathed and bled American pride, a contagious laugh, a handsome smile, was hard working, adventurous, a jokester, and the list could go on and on...he had everything and more that I (we) longed for.

Battling addiction for most of his life, a demon he fought so hard to overcome, took him from a family who loved him more than anything, took a son from a mother who would have died to save him, took him from friends that were there from the beginning of his struggles...robbed so many people of such a beautiful human- a man I was lucky to call my husband if only for a short time.

When Jay died, a huge part of me died too, as we were to grow old together. Having so many future plans and a bucket list that kept getting bigger will be no longer.

I will NOT allow addiction to defy my forever and will make sure Jay is never forgotten.

Jay, aka Baby, as our saying goes, “Always and Forever/Forever and Always,” I will always love you forever and always my sweetest angel.

Love and miss you to the moon and back...to infinity and beyond.

Cassandra Jo Roberts

Age 33
ROMANS 8:28----
Cassandra Roberts
Age 33
33

Cassie Jo was a mother of two boys, AYDEN AND AXTON, who she loved with all of her heart until the day she passed. She was an addict and suffered with the life rollercoaster of wanting to get better, getting clean, but not knowing how to live life clean and sober, relapsing many times back into the lifestyle that she had developed for herself around her addiction to heroin and Xanax. She struggled with the cycle of sex work to make money to survive and feed her habit, as well as hurting ppl around her because her demons drove her to maintain her fix any way she could. BUT THIS WAS not the real her. THE REAL HER HAD TAKEN A BACK SEAT TO the addiction and false version of herself that took over and lead her to eventually lose her life, because her life choices and consequences had finally come up and hit her head on. SOME ppl who lose a loved one in this way that happen to be a parent believe that the addict chose the drug and lifestyle over their kids. But I DONT BELIEVE THAT IS WHAT SHE WAS DOING AT ALL. We make sure her kids always know that she was sick and her disease was so bad that it took her away from them...made her too sick to be able to function as a "normal" mother would.
She and I were friends, sisters, and sometimes enemies ….I ended up becoming the step mom to her boys and now helping to raise them in her absence. I forgive her for all of the memories that are not pleasant… and I try to always focus on the ones that were!!!!
LOVE CONQUERS ALLL>…. her story is a testimony that will now help others to change their lives before it's too late. SHE LEAVES BEHIND A POSITIVE MESSAGE!!

I miss her so much. Sadly, she made one wrong choice by snorting heroin laced with fentanyl and ended her life. Breaking our heart forever. Alyssa you’re so missed 💔✝️

Aaron Neal Wilson

Age 29
Arron was emotional, lovable and beautiful.
Aaron Wilson
Age 29
29

Aaron came into this world premature. He was the most handsome, bouncy, beautiful baby boy. My little Man, as I would call him. Aaron played baseball and got good grades in school. He had a hard time accepting the split up between his dad and I.
He was a handsome young man. He worked in the concrete world, he was a finisher. He was an awesome cook. He had one younger brother, and he had one older sister and two younger sisters. He has two beautiful children; Dom and Chloe. His addiction probably started when he was about 16 or 17. He went to a couple of treatment centers; he tried to fight it, but the drug won. My son passed the day after Easter. My biggest regret is I was not home when he passed. I love my boy and I miss him so. Merry Christmas my forever 29 angel.

Witty. Intelligent. Caring. Compassionate. Loving
Jessica Plant
Age 33
33

My daughter's struggles with addiction began at a very young age, which is why these demons would not let go. Her brain was controlled by this drug as I personally witnessed a sweet innocent girl turn into a raging monster when she was in desperate need of the drug. We spent endless trips to rehab only to return home and use again. These drug dealers were ruthless in their endeavors to keep her their customer. She would beg and plead with me (for help) in a moment she was herself and then the demon himself would capture her thoughts back to seeking the drug that would eventually take her body and soul from those who loved her dearly.

We miss you and each day that passes. Never gets easier, we just learn to adjust. To be able to hear your voice, have those conversations about life and what we're going through as individuals. To hear the knowledge you would give. I tell our children all the time, if I could bring you back I would, but we know you are where you wanted to be, with Mom. So we live knowing you're together again and watching over us each day. We will forever keep your memory alive Gwhoop. Continue to Fly High. We love you.

Joseph Anthony Pihota

Age 28
Funny, caring, an old soul
Joseph Pihota
Age 28
28

Joey was a very kindhearted person. People from all walks of life loved him. He didn't judge others and had a very forgiving soul. He battled with meth and went to prison in 2012. When he came home in 2013, he came home a changed man. He went to work on the oil rigs and was doing great. Joey wanted to smoke pot, but he couldn't due to testing, so he tried synthetic marijuana called "Klimaxx" and he became very addicted to it and tried and tried to quit. On a warm Sunday afternoon he lay dying in a field with police for over an hour waiting on EMS. He died six minutes after they put him in an ambulance for the 12 minute ride to the hospital. I told the officers with him that if my son had found them laying in a field he would have picked them up and carried them to the hospital. Joey had three children, only one of which was he the biological father. But to see him with them you would never know which one. His heart was true, pure, and honest. There were so many people who came to his service and the show of respect was overwhelming. He is so very missed by so many and especially his kids. He was my first born, my only son. He was my friend, my son, my rock, and a mother could not ask for more. He had his moments and his troubles but he was always Joey, and forever will we love and miss you so much son.
